The 2011 Mother & Daughter Gala Retreat was on April 15-16, 2011 at the Hilton Houston, Nasa Clear Lake Hotel
This years theme was "Experiencing Unconditional Love" and check in was on Friday evening
in which we enjoyed praise and worship lakeside accompanied with a steak & chicken Fajita
dinner.  Saturday morning we began with a brief stretching warm up exercise followed by a
discovery ball room where we hosted our first
meeting of the minds that we have entitled "The
View".  The View consisted of a panel of well known
counselors, spiritual leaders and out spoken
individuals discussing various topics that create division within our community and homes, thus labeling the grand
topic "Understanding our Differences".  After "The View's" discussion we adjourned to prepare for the highly
anticipated "2011 Mother & Daughter Gala".  This year's colors were black and white.
